Welcome to C.Walsh.art Wildwood Artistry

Artwork with a story
I'm Carolyn, a wildlife artist based in Hampshire, creating original hand-painted artwork on reclaimed and natural wood.
Inspired by the beauty of the natural world, I bring wildlife, birds, animals and much loved pets to life using the unique character of each piece of wood as part of the artwork.
From original wildlife paintings and handcrafted gifts to pet portraits and commissions, every piece is individually created with a love of nature, a passion for painting and a respect for the materials I use.
No two pieces of wood are ever the same, which means every C.Walsh.art creation is completely unique.
Every piece of reclaimed wood has its own character, from beautiful grain and knots to natural edges and markings. I choose each piece carefully and work with its unique shape to create original artwork inspired by the natural world.
From British wildlife and birds to much loved pets, every piece is individually hand-painted, making each C.walsh.art creation completely unique.
WORKING WITH NATURE
I choose reclaimed and natural wood for its individual character, allowing the grain, knots and natural edges to become part of each artwork.
HAND-PAINTED
Every piece is individually painted by Carolyn, bringing each animal to life with detailed hand-painted artwork.
INSPIRED BY WILDLIFE
From British countryside favourites to animals from around the world, wildlife is the heart of my artwork.

Meet Carolyn Walsh
Hi, I'm Carolyn, the hands and heart behind C.walsh.art Wildwood Artistry.
My path into art hasn't been a straight line, I studied for an art degree, then worked in retail management and later in dental nursing. Each chapter gave me confidence, resilience, and determination to build something of my own. But through it all nature was always where I felt most at home.
I paint wildlife onto rustic wood because I love working with a surface that already holds its own story. The grain, bark and natural edges guide each piece and help shape the final artwork.
Every animal I paint reflects calm, connection and the quiet strength we find in the natural world. Creating them is my way of slowing down and honouring the stillness and i hope that when you see my work, you will feel a little of that too.
